Privacy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
The short version
Safarah does not collect your data. It has no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and the app has no internet permission, so it cannot send anything off your phone.
What Safarah stores on your phone
Your revision sessions, marks, plans, history and settings are saved in the app’s own storage on your phone. We cannot see them. Uninstalling Safarah removes this data.
The microphone
Safarah asks for one permission: the microphone. It is used only for recitation mode, which reveals words as you recite. Speech recognition runs on your phone using a model built into the app, and your recitation is never uploaded.
Sharing and exporting
Safarah shares data only when you choose to export or share it, for example a session report. Once you send a file to another app or person, their privacy practices apply to it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
